LOUXOR DESK
"The Louxor desk was inspired by an Egyptian chest from the famous treasure of the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
I have a passion for ancient Egypt, especially for the incredible beauty and luxury of the objects that were made more than 3,300 years ago to accompany the pharaohs on their journey to the afterlife.
The Louxor desk therefore incorporates the stylistic codes of black and white, as well as the timeless shapes used on the furniture of the period.
Parchment was not yet in use, but rather ivory.
However, ebony, which came from Sudan called the "Land of Punt", was already in use."
